The Greeva (Neck) Basti Ring is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy implement used by practitioners to perform Greeva Basti — a classical Panchakarma localised oil treatment applied to the cervical spine and neck region. During the treatment, warm medicated oil is held within the dough ring boundary over the back of the neck, delivering deep, sustained heat and lubrication to the cervical vertebrae, surrounding muscles, and nerve roots. Traditionally used for Vata-dominant cervical conditions associated with stiffness, tension, and discomfort in the neck and upper back.

How to Use (Greeva Basti)
Position the client prone. Place the ring securely over the cervical and upper thoracic spine region. Fill with warm medicated oil (typically a Vata-pacifying Thailam such as Ksheerabala or Mahanarayana, as directed by the treating Ayurvedic physician). Maintain the warmth of the oil throughout the treatment (20–40 minutes). Gently remove excess oil and proceed to light local massage. For use by qualified Ayurvedic therapists only.
