Warming, nourishing, and herbal

Classical brimhana & Vāta-śāmaka oil prepared in a sesame base by the traditional taila-pāka vidhi, with nourishing herbs (classically Bala, Aśvagandhā, Daśamūla and allies). Used in Kerala practice to comfort muscles, ligaments and joints, ease stiffness and fatigue, and support steady, relaxed movement.

How to use

  • Warm to body temperature.
  • Massage 10–15 min with long strokes on limbs and gentle circles over joints; leave on 20–30 min.
  • Mild swedana (warm compress/steam) may follow. Suitable for daily Abhyanga and localized Pichu / Kati–Greeva–Janu Basti under practitioner guidance.

Notes & safety
External use only. Patch-test before first use; avoid eyes and broken/irritated skin. Do not use during fever or immediately after meals. Store cool, dry, and away from sunlight.

Mesua ferrea, Rock Salt, Curcuma longa, Parmelia perlata, Elettaria cardamomum, Rubia cordifolia, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Cyperus rotundus, Cinnamomum tamala, Cinnamomum verum, Ipomoea mauritiana, Asparagus racemosus. Perfect for Abhyanga (daily massage), Kati Basti, Janu Basti, Anuvasana Basti, and Greeva Basti therapies, and pre-panchakarma preparation.
For external application, apply a few drops of the oil on the painful area and gently massage.
For oral administration, give a dose of 3 to 5 ml once or twice a day, with warm water or milk. This is to be done under supervision

Mahanarayana Oil is generally safe for external use. Oral or internal use should only be done under the strict supervision of an Ayurvedic practitioner. The oil may cause slipperiness; hence, it is advisable not to walk immediately after application.
In case of pregnancy, nursing, or specific medical conditions, consult with a practitioner before using the product. This oil should be stored in a cool, dry place at all times.
