Ksheerabala 101 Avarthy

Sitaram Ayurveda

A classical Thailam prepared by processing Bala (Sida cordifolia) in cow’s milk (ksheera) and sesame oil 101 times. This intensive “avarthy” preparation makes it deeply nourishing and especially balancing for Vata.

What it’s for

  • Soothes head, neck, and nerve discomfort; calms restless or over-stimulated senses

  • Helpful for dryness/irritation of nasal passages; supports clear breathing (Nasya)

  • Useful for ear care (Karna-pūrana) and targeted head/neck massage

How to use

  • Nasya: 2–6 drops in each nostril, once daily or as advised, preferably in the morning after gentle steam.

  • Karna-pūrana (ear): 2–3 drops in each ear.

  • External use: A few ml for gentle massage of head/neck or affected area.

Notes & safety
For external use only. Avoid during acute cold/fever or nasal congestion. Not for children without practitioner guidance. If pregnant, nursing, or on medication, consult your healthcare professional. Store tightly closed, away from heat and sunlight.
